New Downlight Standards

From 10 May 2012 changes have been made to the New Zealand Downlight Standards (AS/NZS 60598.2.2:2001) for residential installations.

The standards have been changed to make downlights safer to use by classifying different types of downlights depending on the heat of the fitting and the type of insulation product being used.
